Growing up as a fifth generation on my Dad’s family farm gave me life skills, opportunities, and memories that most of my generation does not get to experience. Although very rural the area will always be the self-identity that runs through my veins. I truly have history there.

However, being the child of a teacher and traveling salesman afforded my sister and I the opportunities to have the best of both worlds: farm life and seeing the world through travel. In fact, my parents made a point to make sure I saw as much of the world as possible. I have traveled across the United States, Europe and China.

The experiences I had while abroad combined with the exposure to different cultures, allowed me to discover what I am truly passionate about: marketing. Meeting people, experiencing new things, and providing others with new experiences are all things that bring me joy. This led me to study Marketing at Clemson University. The diversity in my experiences, my education, and the way I live gives me real world knowledge that will help with just about all areas of marketing.
